Product detailed description
Taste & colour
A green that does not vanish in milk.
100% finely ground Japanese green tea, with no flavourings and no added colour. FLOW is bolder than ZEN, and that is exactly why it holds up when you top it with milk or pour it over ice.
A matcha latte tastes the same at the start of a shift and at the end of it.
In service
From the morning latte to layered drinks.
Matcha latte
Hot or iced. Sift, whisk, top up with milk. Ready in under a minute.
Iced and layered
Strawberry matcha, ube matcha, tonic. The colour holds through ice and syrup.
A steady cost
2 g per serving is easy to measure out. The price of the drink stays clear.
Preparation
Four steps to a smooth foam.
- Sift about 2 g of matcha through the Chakoshi sieve so that no lumps form.
- Add 40 ml of water at up to 80 °C. Boiling water only makes the taste bitter.
- Whisk with the Chasen in a W motion until a fine foam forms.
- Top up with hot or cold milk, or pour it over ice.
The MOMO range
Each one for something different.

ZEN · ceremonial grade
First harvest from Aichi. The most delicate in the range, for drinking neat and for latte.

FLOW · premium grade · currently viewing
A bolder taste that carries through milk. For lattes and iced drinks.

YUM · culinary grade
Third harvest. Bold and more bitter, made to stand out in a recipe.
Japanese MOMO matcha in three grades, by use: ZEN for drinking neat, FLOW for drinks, YUM for the kitchen. We also offer hojicha, ube and accessories for preparation.
