BWT bestsave — anti-limescale protection without installation
An immersion pad for the water tank. No connecting, no head — you just place it on the bottom of the coffee machine's tank. The ion exchanger binds calcium and prevents limescale, activated carbon improves the taste and smell of the water. The simplest protection for compact coffee machines and machines with a built-in tank.
No installation
Just rinse it and place it on the bottom of the tank. No tools, no connection.

For which machines
BWT bestsave is intended for all compact coffee machines, automatic machines and vending with a built-in water tank — cafés, bakeries, offices (Office Coffee). Wherever water is topped up into a tank, bestsave works.
How to do it
- Rinse the pad briefly under running water.
- Place on the bottom of the full coffee machine tank. The ion exchanger needs 8–10 hours to bind the calcium.
- Ideally overnight — in the morning you have treated water ready for the whole day.
- Replace once the capacity is used up, but for hygiene reasons at the latest after 2 months.
Which size to choose
Choose the size according to your tank's volume and water hardness — a larger pad handles more top-ups. The capacity is a guide at a hardness of 10 °dH.
