BWT bestcare — hygienic assurance for water dispensers
A filter for dispensers and cold drinking-water systems. A triple barrier of activated carbon with silver captures particles, cloudiness, organic substances and chlorine — and a final hollow-fibre membrane (0.1 µm) safely removes bacteria and protozoa (e.g. Giardia, Cryptosporidium). The water from the dispenser is thus not only clean and good but also hygienically safe.
Capture of bacteria and protozoa
The 0.1 µm hollow-fibre membrane captures 99.999% of bacteria (e.g. legionella) and protozoan cysts.
Triple carbon barrier
Activated carbon with silver reduces chlorine (>90%), off-tastes, organic substances and cloudiness. It prevents bacterial growth.
Microplastics capture
Membrane filtration also retains microplastics and fine particles.
Dispenser protection
It protects downstream equipment and ensures safe water right at the point of draw.
How the water passes through the filter — 4 stages
- Pre-filtration — captures particles larger than 5 µm.
- Adsorption — reduces organic substances, cloudiness, foreign taste and odour.
- Reaction — reduces chlorine.
- Membrane filtration (0.1 µm) — the hollow-fibre membrane removes bacteria and protozoa.
Sizes
Choose the size according to the dispenser's volume. Suitable for cold drinking water everywhere the water should be safe right at the point of draw. Replace after 6 months, at the latest after 12.
