BWT besttaste — clean water taste, minerals retained
Taste filter for coffee machines and water dispensers. It reliably reduces unwanted tastes, odours, organic substances and chlorine — while retaining the mineral balance, which is important for taste. Ideal also as pre-filtration before reverse osmosis. Three sizes, connection via the besthead FLEX head.
Better taste, minerals stay
Removes off-tastes and chlorine but doesn't strip minerals — the taste of water and coffee stays full.
Powerful particle pre-filtration
A deep polypropylene filter with high absorbency handles even water with a high content of impurities (1 µm).
Pre-filter before RO
Excellent pre-filtration before BWT bestaqua ROC reverse osmosis — protects the membrane and tunes the taste.
For soft water
Suitable for areas with low carbonate hardness, where there is no risk of limescale and the main issue is taste.
How the water passes through the filter — 2 stages
- Particle pre-filtration — catches coarse impurities, and thanks to its special design even large amounts of them.
- Main stage with activated carbon — reduces organic substances and compounds causing off-odours and off-tastes (e.g. chlorine).
Which size to choose
Choose the size according to your operation's volume — a larger cartridge = greater capacity and a longer replacement interval. Replace after 6 months, at the latest after 12.

besttaste connects via the universal head BWT besthead FLEX. You buy the head once, then change the cartridges as needed. Mounting vertically or horizontally.

- EASY Bypass — water cut setting with a lock and a legible scale (0–3).
- EASY Vent — integrated venting and flushing valve.

For every installation we strongly recommend the BWT AQA monitor — a digital water meter that tracks the volume of water that has passed through. So you know exactly when to change the filter: by real consumption, not by estimate.
