BWT bestmin PREMIUM — remineralisation of soft water
A filter that instead enrichesthe water. Where water is poor in minerals — naturally soft, or after reverse osmosis — bestmin adds calcium and above all magnesium as a carrier of taste. The result is gourmet water with a balanced mineral balance for coffee, espresso and tea with full taste.
Controlled remineralisation
It adds calcium and magnesium (Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺) to the water in a controlled and reproducible way. Magnesium = carrier of taste.
Ideal after reverse osmosis
A great partner to the BWT bestaqua ROC system for heavily salted or chlorinated water — it brings RO water back into taste shape.
Also for soft areas
Where water is naturally poor in minerals and coffee tastes 'flat', bestmin adds body and fullness.
Clean taste
Integrated activated carbon removes chlorine, organic substances and off-tastes. It filters all the treated water.
How the water passes through the filter — 4 stages
- Particle pre-filter — catches coarse impurities, rust and sand.
- Activated carbon with silver — removes organic substances, chlorine and off-tastes.
- Mineralisation stage — releases minerals (calcium and magnesium) into the water.
- Fine particle filter — separates fine and suspended particles.
When to choose bestmin
